On November 16, a railroad on the route to the border with Ukraine was damaged in Poland. This was reported by RMF24 .

On Sunday morning, a train driver reported damage to the railroad infrastructure in Życzyń, Harwolin County, Mazowieckie Voivodeship. The media noted that this section of the important railway line No. 7 connects Warsaw with the border crossing in Dorohusk on the border with Ukraine. It is used, among other things, by trains heading to Lublin, Chełm, and further to Ukraine.

Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on social network X that there were no injuries. This morning he confirmed that it was an act of sabotage.

"Unfortunately, the worst suspicions have been confirmed. The act of sabotage took place on the Warsaw-Lublin route (Mika village). An explosive device detonated and destroyed the railroad track. Emergency services and the prosecutor's office are working at the scene. Damage was also detected on the same route, closer to Lublin," said the head of the Polish government .

RMF24 also reported that a power line on the Warsaw-Lublin railway line was damaged on the evening of November 16: someone threw a chain over it, causing a short circuit. The overhead line is being repaired, and train traffic in the area is limited.

This caused a halt to the Swinoujscie-Rzeszów train carrying 475 passengers. A window broke in one of the cars, no one was injured, reported police on the morning of November 17 in the social network X.
