An accident occurred at VostGOK's uranium mine: the fate of two people is unknown

Emergency and rescue operations are underway at the Ingulska mine of the Eastern Mining and Processing Plant (VostGOK), the Ministry of Energy reports.

on November 11, an emergency situation occurred there: a breakthrough of hydraulic filling mixture occurred in the underground mine of the spent unit and the horizon was flooded.

Four employees of Svitex were at the accident site. Two of them left the accident area on their own, while the fate of the other two employees remains unknown as of 14:00 on November 12.

"In accordance with labor law, a commission will be set up to investigate the accident," the ministry said in a statement.
