An electronic system for tracking cosmetics has been launched in Ukraine

Ukraine has launched an electronic notification system for cosmetic product information, which will create a unified digital register of all cosmetic products in the country and bring the Ukrainian market closer to European safety standards. This was reported by Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Before the implementation of the electronic system, cosmetic notification processes in Ukraine were not carried out at all. Cosmetic products ended up on store shelves without any centralized accounting.
Now, manufacturers and importers of cosmetic products must enter detailed data about their products into a special electronic system.
"The launch of this system is another step towards the full integration of Ukraine into the European market and safety standards. Thanks to digital tools, we have a transparent and unified process for registering cosmetic products. This not only protects consumers but also creates clear and predictable rules for businesses," emphasized Mariia Karchevych, Deputy Minister of Health for Digital Development.
At the current stage, users can register a responsible person and company employees, notify information about cosmetic products, record changes in data, and generate reports on notified products without disclosing trade secrets.
In the future, the system will gain additional capabilities. State organizations that carry out toxicological control of cosmetic products will be able to quickly provide doctors with information about the composition of cosmetic products.
- On December 1, the Ministry of Health announced that from January 1, 2026, immunization schedule in Ukraine will change and will include mandatory vaccination against 11 infectious diseases.
