Co-founder of the 1+1 TV channel Boris Fuksman dies at the age of 78

German media mogul, investor, film producer and co-founder of 1+1 TV channel Boris Fuchsman died at the age of 78. About reported his cousin Oleksandr Rodnyansky.

"Not only wars, but also diseases take their toll. My brother has just passed away. We are actually cousins, but we have always been family. From the first day of my life to the last day of his."rodnyansky wrote on Instagram.

At the beginning of his career, Fuchsman worked at the Kyiv Documentary Film Studio as a cameraman's assistant, after which he moved to Germany and founded an art gallery in Düsseldorf.

In 1990, he came to Ukraine with Rodnyansky to found the production company Innova Film. Later, the brothers also became the founders of the 1+1 TV channel, the Cinema City cinema chain, and the owners of the Hilton Hotel in Kyiv.
