"Demand is very high". Aircraft-type drones added to the DOT-Chain Defence marketplace

In the "weapons marketplace" DOT-Chain Defence, which was launched in July 2025, in addition to FPV drones and bombers, you can now also order aircraft-type drones. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense.

The range currently includes 12 models from eight Ukrainian manufacturers. The Defense Procurement Agency has contracted these manufacturers to supply drones both from existing stock and by pre-order.

"The demand for aircraft drones is very high. The military has already placed a significant number of pre-orders that will be delivered in the near future," said Arsen Zhumadilov, director of AOZ.

Most models are reconnaissance drones with a characteristic aircraft shape and appropriate aerodynamic characteristics. They are designed for long flights and are capable of performing a wide range of tasks, including intelligence gathering, surveillance and monitoring.

All manufacturers of codified products can participate and offer their drones to the military through the weapons marketplace. Currently, 12 brigades have access to DOT-Chain Defence.

The Ministry of Defence plans to further scale up DOT-Chain Defence. In the near future, the range of products available on the marketplace will be expanded to include other types of drones, including NRCs, as well as electronic warfare/electronic warfare (EW) and missiles.

• DOT-Chain Defense was developed by the Defense Procurement Agency on the basis of the DOT-Chain system launched in 2024 by the State Logistics Operator to purchase food for the army.
• The new procurement system of the Ministry of Defense has reduced the delivery time for UAVs by four times. One of the first suppliers was manufacturer of drones "General Chereshnya" (Center for Unmanned Systems Research LLC, owned by Yaroslav Grishin).
• In early September, it was reported that through DOT-Chain Defense the military received the first electronic warfare equipment under the Army of Drones Bonus program.
