Government allows companies to include loan costs in the price of defense contracts

The government has decided that companies will be able to include loan interest costs in the cost of government contracts – up to 10% of the cost of production. This was reported by prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko і defense minister Denis Shmyhal.

According to Svyrydenko, this will help domestic producers of drones and electronic warfare (EW) equipment to develop and strengthen the country's defense capabilities.

"This new financial mechanism will allow Ukrainian manufacturers to create more weapons and technologies, faster and more efficiently. We are scaling up our defense industry. We are attracting more resources. The result is millions of Ukrainian drones for the front line," Shmyhal said.

According to him, earlier there were negotiations with banks to strengthen support defense industry, and the first results are already visible.
