Kharkiv factory receives first maximum grant for restoration

Kharkiv Nonwovens Factory was the first in Ukraine to receive a grant to restore production in the maximum amount of UAH 16 million. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture on Thursday.

"The Ministry [...] has approved 34 new applications totaling UAH 190.8 million under the Grants for Processing Companies program. Among them is the first grant for the restoration of production for a maximum amount of UAH 16 million. It will be awarded to a Kharkiv-based nonwovens manufacturer that suffered from Russian shelling. The funds will be used for the purchase and installation of new equipment," the statement said .

In orders on the Ministry's website, there is only one company that will receive a grant for this amount – Netkam LLC.

Other grants for the development or creation of new production will be awarded to companies in the food, building materials, furniture, clothing and accessories, electrical equipment, electrical cables, plastic and nonwoven products, and metalworking industries.

Since the beginning of 2025, the state has already approved 344 grant applications for more than UAH 1.75 billion.

"In this wave, for the first time, a grant for the maximum amount of UAH 16 million has been approved for recovery. This is a signal to the companies that suffered destruction: the program is working, and they can rebuild production without waiting for better times," said Deputy Minister Andriy Teliupa.
