Ministry of Justice confirms searches at Galushchenko's place: he will not comment

The Ministry of Justice has confirmed that Minister Herman Galushchenko's home was searched by the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and said that he would not comment publicly on the matter until "the relevant procedural actions are completed." This is stated on the website of the Ministry's.

"The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine confirms that investigative actions within the criminal proceedings were carried out with the participation of Minister of Justice Herman Galushchenko. The Minister provides full assistance to law enforcement agencies to ensure a comprehensive, objective and impartial investigation. Given the need to maintain the secrecy of the pre-trial investigation, the Minister refrains from public comment until the relevant procedural actions are completed," the Ministry said .

The Ministry of Justice emphasized that it adheres to the principle of zero tolerance to corruption and that in case of guilt, individuals should be brought to justice in accordance with the procedure established by the court.
