Naftogaz attracts UAH 3 billion loan for gas purchase due to large-scale Russian shelling

Group Naftogaz received from Oschadbank a UAH 3 billion loan for the purchase of imported natural gas. About reported chairman of the Board of the company Sergiy Koretsky.
Ukraine needs additional volumes of gas because of large-scale shelling of gas infrastructure by Russian troops.
"We are working together with Ukrainian and international partners to attract financial and other resources to ensure a stable heating season in the face of Russian terrorist attacks."koretsky emphasized.
He added that the agreement with Oschadbank is one of the practical steps to improve the country's energy sustainability.
The press service of Naftogaz notedthe company's cooperation with Oschadbank has been going on for over fifteen years.
In July, Naftogaz received two loans of UAH 4.7 billion each to purchase gas before the winter: from PrivatBank and Ukrgasbankand in August the company signed the largest deal with the EBRD in Ukraine and attracted eUR 500 million for gas purchases.
