Nova Poshta introduces a surcharge for parcels at the post office and partially raises tariffs

New mail is raising some tariffs and introducing an additional fee for receiving parcels at post offices starting December 1, 2025. This is what the company said on Friday, November 21.

We are leaving some tariffs unchanged or reducing them where possible [...] At the same time, we are updating some other tariffs," the statement said.

The cost of delivery of small parcels (up to 2 kg), commission on the declared value up to UAH 500, en route redirection, return of documents and parcels remains unchanged. The envelope for documents and packages from 0.5 to 4 kg are already included in the delivery cost.

Starting December 1, a surcharge of UAH 10 will be introduced for delivery to a post office, the cost of delivery or collection of parcels and documents by courier will increase by UAH 15 to UAH 50, and for dimensions over 120 cm or without a box, you will have to pay UAH 100 (+50 UAH).

In addition, Nova Poshta divides its tariffs by localization. Thus, the tariff for delivering documents in a branded envelope to a city branch will be UAH 60, and UAH 70 across Ukraine (currently, the single tariff is UAH 65).

Parcel delivery:

→ between city branches up to 2 kg remains unchanged – UAH 60, up to 10 kg – UAH 100 (+UAH 10), up to 30 kg – UAH 160 (+UAH 20);
→ between branches in Ukraine up to 2 kg – UAH 80 (unchanged), up to 10 kg – UAH 120 (+UAH 10), up to 30 kg – UAH 180 (+UAH 20).

The cost of transportation of goods weighing more than 30 kg between branches will cost 1 hryvnia more for each kilogram of weight:

→ in the city – 6 UAH/kg;
→ in Ukraine, depending on the delivery zone – 10, 11 and 12 UAH/kg.

If the parcel is larger than 120 cm, a surcharge of UAH 150 will be charged.

The tariff is formed as follows: the total weight of the cargo (in kg) is multiplied by the cost per 1 kg, which depends on the delivery area (distance to the final settlement).

The cost of transporting pallets between departments will increase by UAH 50 to 250, and tires and disks by UAH 15 to 50.

• Since the end of April 2025, Nova Poshta has changed its tariffs for delivery of parcels abroad – started taking into account the actual weight of the parcel, not its volume.
