HACCU fully grants SAPO's motion to arrest suspect with pseudonym Tenor

The High Anti-Corruption Court has taken into custody with an alternative to bail one of the suspects in the Midas case - Dmytro Basov ("Tenor"), Executive Director for Physical Protection and Security Energoatom. The court hearing was broadcast by HACC's YouTube channel.
The court partially granted the motion of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, although the defense asked for a lighter measure of restraint.
"To impose on Basov Dmytro Mykolayovych a preventive measure in the form of detention for 60 days. To set bail for the suspect Basov in the amount of UAH 40 million," the judge said.

- On November 11, NABU and SAPO announced suspicion to seven persons involved in the Energoatom corruption case as part of Operation Midas: a prominent businessman (Carlson), a former advisor to the Minister of Energy (Roket), the Executive Director for Physical Protection and Security of Energoatom (Tenor), and four people who, according to the investigation, were involved in money laundering. Five suspects were detained.
