Rada initiates resignation of Halushchenko and Hrynchuk over NABU case

Opposition MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak initiated the dismissal of the Minister of Justice, former Minister of Energy Herman Halushchenko and current Minister of Energy Svitlana Hrynchuk over the NABU case. He announced this in Telegram .
"I have submitted to the parliament an application for the dismissal of Herman Galushchenko from the post of Minister of Justice (and de facto Minister of Energy). I have also submitted a resolution to the Rada to dismiss de jure Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk from her post," the MP wrote .
On the morning of November 10, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau reported on a large-scale operation to expose corruption in the energy sector, which may involve businessman Timur Mindich.
Zheleznyak believes this is sufficient reason to dismiss both ministers.
- Halushchenko headed the Ministry of Energy for more than four years – from April 29, 2021, to July 17, 2025.
- After the change of government, he moved to the post of Minister of Justice, and Svitlana Hrynchuk, who previously headed the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources, was appointed to replace him.
