On the night of October 28, Russian troops attacked civilian gas infrastructure facilities Naftogaz in the Poltava region. About said naftogaz's press service.

This is the seventh targeted attack on the company's facilities since the beginning of October.

According to the Chairman of the Board of Naftogaz Sergei Koretsky specialists are working at the site to assess the consequences of the shelling and begin restoration work. There were no casualties.

Koretsky emphasized that these facilities have no military significance, and the only purpose of the Russian attacks is to deprive Ukrainians of gas and heat.
