A missile strike on Kyiv during the night of November 25 damaged one of the facilities of the Textile-Kontakt group, the largest manufacturer in Ukraine’s light industry. The company’s owner, Oleksandr Sokolovskyi, reported the incident on Facebook.

He later told LIGA.net that several explosions occurred along the perimeter of the company’s site, located on Kyiv’s left bank in the Dniprovskyi district. Warehouses and production facilities were damaged, and part of the fabric stock was destroyed or flooded.

The total losses have not yet been assessed and will take time to determine.

No Textile-Kontakt employees were injured. However, there were casualties among workers in the nearby industrial zone — "unfortunately, one of the drivers was at the epicenter of the ballistic blast," Sokolovskyi said.

He stressed that there were no military facilities in the area, noting that the strike targeted civilian industrial sites and energy infrastructure.

Despite the damage, the company continues operating and does not plan to relocate. Sokolovskyi added that other Textile-Kontakt facilities in different Ukrainian cities will help ensure that orders are fulfilled.
