The Cabinet of Ministers approved a plan to implement a moratorium on business inspections: it will take effect on July 24

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a plan to implement the NSDC's decision on a moratorium on unreasonable inspections and interference in business. About this said prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.
Starting July 24, the tax and customs authorities will limit inspections of low-risk businesses. Only high-risk industries, such as the circulation of excisable goods, will continue to be inspected.
"The state will not interfere with those who work honestly," Svyrydenko said.
The Government is also initiating changes to the Criminal Procedure Code. Only the Prosecutor General or regional authorities will be able to open new proceedings against businesses.
In addition, the State Regulatory Service and ministries are to submit proposals for deregulation and reduction of unnecessary permits within a month.
By October 21, law enforcement agencies must coordinate actions to identify assets under sanctions and ensure their return to the budget for defense and reconstruction.
We also plan to launch a digital control system and review the effectiveness of decisions on a quarterly basis.
- July 21 National Security and Defense Council introduced a moratorium on business inspections.
- Svyrydenko explained that the moratorium provides for a point control over high-risk enterprises and digitalization of the state supervision system.
