The Financial Times named Jensen Huang, founder and CEO Nvidia, Person of the Year 2025 for his role in transforming the semiconductor industry and spreading artificial intelligence, which has swept the business and finance world.

It found itself at the center of one of the largest private sector investment programs, which simultaneously supported the US economy and contributed to the rapid growth of the stock market. In addition, it became one of the key drivers in the implementation of technology capable of radically changing entire industries.

Nvidia is currently the most valuable company in the world. During the year, it became the first company whose market capitalization exceeded $5 trillion.

It is estimated that Huang will end 2025 with a fortune of over $160 billion, which will allow him to enter the top ten richest people in the world. He calls Nvidia "one of the most important technology companies in history."

"2025 will go down in history as the year data centers entered the public consciousness. The race to build new massive computing power to meet future demand for artificial intelligence has turned their construction into a bright spot for a sluggish economy, accounting for a significant portion of US GDP growth," the FT reported.
