"The mechanism has already been agreed upon". The US may exempt certain regions of Ukraine from duties

The Ministry of Economy, Environment and Agriculture is discussing the creation of tariff-free zones in Ukraine during talks with the United States, the Minister said Oleksiy Sobolev in an interview with LIGA.net.
"We discussed that we would identify areas in Ukraine where the tariffs from the United States for all products manufactured in these regions. The regions themselves have not yet been defined, but the mechanism has already been agreed upon," the minister said.
According to him, the so-called prosperity package, an action plan for Ukraine's recovery and economic prosperity, is being discussed with the American side.
"How much money is needed, from which sources it can come, and through which instruments it can be received," Sobolev explained.
A preliminary document has been prepared and presented to the US President during the talks To Donald Trump.
"Both presidents approved it. Now we will engage a wider range of stakeholders to finalize this part of the peace agreement," he said.
