The Tax Service has increased the number of scheduled business audits in 2025: who is on the list

The State Tax Service plans to conduct 4,908 inspections of companies and entrepreneurs in 2025, which is 122 inspections more than the previous schedule. About writes Opendatabot.

In 79% of cases, companies will be inspected (3,881 companies), while the rest will be individual entrepreneurs (1,027 individual entrepreneurs). Most inspections are scheduled for December – 482.

By the end of this year, the tax authorities plan to conduct 1391 audits, including 11 companies belonging to large financial and industrial groups and ten other businesses with ties to them.

The State Tax Service plans to inspect 1,016 companies (73%), 42 financial institutions and non-residents (3%), 268 individual entrepreneurs (19.3%) and 65 businesses with issues with the payment of personal income tax, military duty and unified social tax (4.7%).

At the same time, among the companies that remained in the plan, there are those that are no longer operating: nine companies have filed for bankruptcy, nine more are in the process of being suspended, and four have already been officially closed.

Businesses and companies operating in the industries will be inspected the most by the end of the year:

  • wholesale trade (272 companies or 24%);
  • agriculture (119 or 11%);
  • food production (76 or 7%);
  • warehousing and logistics (64 or 6%);
  • retail trade (49 or 4%).

Every fifth inspection will take place in the capital (219), followed by tax officials from Dnipropetrovs'k (122 or 11%), Odesa (114 or 10%), Lviv (79 or 7%), and Poltava (60 or 5.4%).

In particular, the State Tax Service will inspect major players in the Ukrainian market by the end of the year: Kernel-Trade, OKKO-Express, GTS Operator of Ukraine, Metinvest-SMC, Rush, Santrade, Samsung Electronics Ukraine Company, Omega, Pivden GOK and Dniprostal.
