The Verkhovna Rada failed to pass two laws under the Ukraine Facility program

The Verkhovna Rada did not support the draft laws №9363 and №5837, which are part of Ukraine's commitments under the European Union's Ukraine Facility financial support program. About reported people's deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
Both draft laws were not adopted in the second reading.
Draft Law No. 9363 amends certain laws regarding the digitalization of enforcement proceedings.
The main provisions of the document include automatic seizure of debtors' money, integration of the Unified Register of Debtors with banks and other state registers, and automatic lifting of the seizure after payment is made.
There were a lot of fakes around this draft law, such as "if adopted, citizens will be included in the register of debtors without a court decision" or "the draft law contradicts EU law," and the Ministry of Justice debunked.
Draft Law No. 5837 concerns the basic principles of state supervision over the activities of business entities.
The document proposes to empower state supervision and control bodies with the right to demand from enterprises to partially or completely suspend production in case of violations.
In addition, the draft law provides for a reorientation of the state supervision and control system to a preventive and risk-oriented one.
- July 22, NSDC identified seven draft lawsthat the Rada should consider as soon as possible to improve the business climate and stimulate economic growth in Ukraine. Among them was draft law No. 5837.
