Three luxury cars are to be confiscated from the current MP: a lawsuit has been filed with the HACC

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office is asking to recover assets worth more than UAH 8.6 million that actually belong to a Ukrainian MP. This was reported by the press services of SAP і National Agency for the Prevention of Corruption.

The SAPO prosecutor filed a lawsuit with the High Anti-Corruption Court to recognize as unjustified the assets registered in the names of a number of individuals and legal entities associated with a member of the Verkhovna Rada.

The MP's name is not mentioned. According to sources LIGA.net in law enforcement, we are talking about Serhiy Lytvynenko. He is a member of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine of the IX convocation, elected to the parliament from the Servant of the people in the 156th constituency (Rivne region) as a non-partisan. Member of the Committee on Agrarian and Land Policy.

The NACP and the SAPO found that in 2020-2021, the MP's unofficial drivers, as well as a private company associated with him, purchased three luxury cars made in 2020: Toyota Land Cruiser 200, BMW 730LD and BMW X5.

The MP himself used luxury cars worth more than UAH 8.6 million. The report emphasizes that he "even received a permit to enter the territory of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine."

After analyzing the income and expenditures of the government official and his family members, the anti-corruption authorities concluded that the MP could not have bought these luxury cars with his legitimate income.

У declarations Lytvynenko's 2022 income statement shows that he earned UAH 411,000 in the Verkhovna Rada. The salary of his wife Evelina at the Zirnenskyi Distillery was UAH 100,000, and this is the entire income of the couple for the year.

In the section on cars, Lytvynenko listed three cars. However, only VAZ-21093 was owned by him. The other two – Toyota Land Cruiser 200 and BMW 730 LD – are only used by the MP.
