Ukraine to launch mass production of ammunition against FPV drones

The Ministry of Defense has codified anti-drone ammunition from several Ukrainian manufacturers for mass production. About said his press service on Thursday, November 20.
"Thanks to the anti-drone ammunition, the Ukrainian military will be able to more effectively counter enemy FPVs and Mavic. Their peculiarity is in a special warhead, which significantly increases the chance of shooting down a Russian drone," the minister said in a commentary Denys Shmyhal.
Such ammunition does not require a separate weapon – conventional assault rifles are sufficient.
"FPV drones and Mavic drones have become one of the biggest threats to our military. That is why we are developing solutions that help to counter Russian attacks more effectively. One of them is anti-drone ammunition. They do not require separate weapons: it is enough for a soldier to have a magazine with special ammunition and equip regular weapons with them. The Ministry of Defense has already codified anti-drone ammunition from several Ukrainian manufacturers. The next step is large-scale production and supply to the troops," the First Deputy Prime Minister wrote Mikhail Fedorov у Telegram.
According to him, manufacturers of anti-drone ammunition demonstrated their developments at the Brave1 defense cluster training ground. "We are working to ensure that our military has weapons that will shoot down enemy drones and save lives," Fedorov added.
