Ukrposhta increased the maximum weight of small shipments to a number of countries

Since October Ukrposhta has increased the maximum weight of small international shipments from two to five kilograms to the UK, China, Singapore, Thailand, Chile, India, and a number of other countries. About said the company's press service.

"Thanks to this, about 30% of Ukrposhta's customers can save on international delivery," Ukrposhta emphasized.

Previously, shipments weighing more than two kilograms could only be processed as a parcel or through the international express delivery service EMS (Express Mail Service). Now entrepreneurs can choose a cheaper option – the PRIME package.

The service includes tracking, door-to-door or mailbox delivery, free return in case of non-delivery, and no bulk weight charge.

For companies that cooperate with the UK, Ukraine's second-largest export destination, shipments weighing two to five kilograms have now fallen in price by 22-25%.

• From October 1, the cost of sending small PRIME packages by Ukrposhta to the USA starts at UAH 260, which is $1.5-2 cheaper than before.
