Government reviews composition of Ukrposhta's supervisory board

The Cabinet of Ministers has officially approved the composition of the supervisory board of the state postal service Ukrposhta, according to the relevant order published on the government's website. This happened a month after the Ministry of Economy announced the creation of the supervisory board.

During this time, there was a change in its composition: Kostiantyn Hura and Serhiy Derkach became representatives of the state instead of Nataliya Bernatska and Kristina Prasolova.

Nataliya Bernatska (Sevostyanova) is a former first deputy minister of justice. In 2020, she was charged by the NABU in the so-called "Golden Mandarin" case.

Kristina Prasolova (Holubytska) is the daughter of Ihor Prasolov, the former minister of economy under Viktor Yanukovych. In 2021, she briefly held the post of deputy minister of economy.

Instead, the government decided to appoint Kostiantyn Hura, the head of the State Agency for Infrastructure Projects, and Serhiy Derkach, the Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure, to the supervisory board of Ukrposhta.

The following will become independent members of the supervisory board of Ukrposhta, according to the Ministry of Economy:

→ Rinat Abdrasilov (Kyrgyzstan, Senior Partner of Cambridge Management Consulting, UK),
→ Jakub Karnowski (Poland, experience in the supervisory boards of Ukrposhta and UZ),
→ Gary John Carroll (UK, postal business),
→ Olena Malynska (Ukraine, strategic management and banking),
→ Ihor Mitiukov (Ukraine, financial management).
