The Supervisory Board of PJSC Ukrnafta has appointed CFO Yuriy Tkachuk as the company’s interim CEO, according to a statement from the company’s press service.

He will lead Ukraine’s largest oil company until a final decision is made regarding the appointment of a permanent CEO.

The company emphasized that Mr. Tkachuk has a deep understanding of Ukrnafta’s internal processes and strategic development priorities. This experience is expected to support management stability, ensure uninterrupted operations, and facilitate the implementation of key initiatives.

Previously, Yuriy Tkachuk served as the company’s Chief Financial Officer.

  • On May 13, it was announced that Sergiy Koretsky, the head of Ukrnafta and Ukrtatnafta, had stepped down from both positions. On May 14, 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the Executive Board of Naftogaz of Ukraine.
