Three European companies to help launch glass plant in Ukraine: agreements signed
NovaSklo, which is implementing a project to build a flint glass plant in Kyiv region, has agreed to cooperate with three leading European equipment manufacturers: Horn Glass Industries (Germany), Zippe Industrieanlagen (Germany) and Bottero (Italy). This was reported by EFI Group's press service LIGA.net .
The agreements were signed during the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC) 2025 in Rome.
Horn Glass Industries, Bottero and Zippe will provide NovaSklo with engineering and design services, including technical design, equipment configuration and engineering expertise during the construction of the glassworks.
EFI Group has also agreed on a technical partnership with one of the world's three largest float glass manufacturers. The deal is expected in the near future, said Olga Batova, CEO of the company.
The glass manufacturing plant is to be built in Kyiv region by 2028. The project involves investments of more than EUR 240 million and is being implemented at the initiative of EFI Group.
The company is expected to produce 24.8 million cubic meters of glass annually using its own quartz sand deposit.
The company has already registered a land plot for production and signed an agreement with the general designer.
