ABC News: Trump is considering getting rid of his red Tesla after falling out with Musk
US President Donald Trump is considering giving away or selling the red Tesla he once purchased as a sign of support for Elon Musk, ABC News reports.
It is noted that the car was seen near the White House the day before, on Thursday.
After a loud public argument with Musk, Trump said he wasn't too concerned about the conflict with the Tesla founder.
The journalist asked him about the planned conversation with Musk, to which Trump replied: "You mean a person who has lost his mind?"
The US president added that Musk wants to talk, but Trump is "not particularly" interested in this conversation right now.
Trump's advisers say he is more upset than angry about the conflict with Musk. One adviser described Trump's mood as "depressed."

The car was seen near the White House the day before, on Thursday.
The feud between the politician and the businessman flared up after Musk criticized Trump's major tax and immigration bill.
Musk even suggested that Trump would have lost the 2024 election without his support, called for the ex-president's impeachment, and claimed, without evidence, that Trump allegedly appears in the documents of the Jeffrey Epstein case.
In response, Trump called Musk "crazy" and threatened to cancel government contracts and subsidies for his companies.
The White House called the conflict "an unfortunate episode on the part of Elon," who did not like the law, which did not take into account his political priorities.
- In May 2025, Musk announced that he was ending his work with the US government as a special civil servant.
- On May 30, The New York Times published an investigation that said Elon Musk regularly used ketamine and ecstasy while working with Trump.
