In the first five months of 2025, Renault Clio became the best-selling car in the European new car market. This was reported by Ukravtoprom.

Sales of the model increased by 7.7% compared to the same period in 2024.

Renault Clio is recognized as the favorite car of the French. The model has consistently topped the list of the most popular cars in France since its launch in 1990.

At the same time, last year's leader, the Dacia Sandero, dropped to second place in the ranking, showing a drop in sales of 8.4%.

The top ten most popular models in Europe also include:

  • Volkswagen T-Roc (+0.3%);
  • Volkswagen Golf (-16.7%);
  • Volkswagen Tiguan (+11.8%);
  • Dacia Duster (+7.1%);
  • Citroen C3 (-10.9%);
  • Opel Corsa (+7%);
  • Toyota Yaris (-12.9%);
  • Peugeot 2008 (+2.5%).
