Court opens bankruptcy proceedings against Arterium Corporation

Kyiv Commercial Court opens bankruptcy proceedings on January 21 arterium Corporation, one of the largest players in the Ukrainian pharmaceutical market. About reported in the court register.

The process was initiated by the Galychpharm plant, which is part of the Arterium, but since May 2025 it has been in the process of disposing of property in bankruptcy proceedings.

The court recognized the plant's monetary claims totaling UAH 338.56 million.

This debt arose due to improper payment for the delivered medicines and medical devices under the agreement dated May 1, 2024.

Arterium stated in court that it had a stable financial condition and that the Russian armed aggression had affected its operations, but the ruling stated that the judge had not received evidence that the claims could not be satisfied because of the hostilities or the location of property in the occupied territories.

In this regard, the court opened bankruptcy proceedings, imposed a moratorium on satisfaction of creditors' claims and appointed insolvency receiver Natalia Potupalo as the property manager.

According to Apteka.uain 2025, Arterium ranked seventh in Ukraine in terms of pharmacy sales of medicines and dietary supplements in monetary terms.

• The bankrupt pharmaceutical manufacturer Sky Development, which bought from the Deposit Guarantee Fund the rights to claim ten debts of Arterium Corporation to the bankrupt bank, is going bankrupt "Finance and Credit".
