Nova Poshta starts working in Estonia, first parcel was sent to frontline area
supplementedNova Poshta, one of Ukraine’s largest private postal services, has opened an office in Tallinn, the Estonian capital, and symbolically sent its first parcel from there to the Izium district in the Kharkiv region.
Until now, there have been eight Nova Poshta delivery points and 14 post offices in Estonia, all of them in Tallinn.
Estonia is the eighth European country where Nova Poshta has opened offices and launched courier delivery.
Delivery time from Ukraine to Estonia is five days or more, the company said in a statement.
"This year we are opening branches in all Baltic countries. In March, Nova Post entered the Lithuanian market; today we are opening the first branch in Estonia, and in a week we will start working in Latvia," Oleksandr Lysovets, CEO of Nova Post Europe, was quoted as saying.
The company has invested EUR 300,000 in its business in the Baltic states.
Nova Post has already opened 66 offices in Estonia, Poland, Lithuania, Czech Republic, Romania, Germany, Slovakia, and Moldova.
