Danish toy manufacturer LEGO reported announced record financial results for the first half of 2025, recording double-digit growth in key indicators.

"This is the best first half of the year ever. We set a record for revenues, a record for operating profit, a record for net profit... So we are very pleased," he said said lEGO CEO Niels Christiansen in an interview with CNBC.

In January-June, the company's revenue increased by 12% to DKK 34.6 billion ($5.4 billion).

LEGO's net profit grew by 10% to 6.5 billion kronor (about $1 billion), while operating profit also rose by 10% to 9 billion kronor ($1.4 billion).

In the first six months of the year, the toy maker released 314 new sets, which was another record. LEGO is constantly expanding its product range to include home decor sets and wall murals.

The company also found new licensing partners and released sets dedicated to the children's animation series Bluey and the anime One Piece.

The next step will be a multi-year partnership with Pokemon, which is scheduled to hit store shelves in 2026.

As part of long-term investments in key regions, the company opened a plant in Vietnam for $1 billion and a new headquarters in the Americas in Boston, USA.

Now LEGO is investing more than $1.5 billion in the construction of a 185,000-square-meter factory and regional distribution center in Virginia, USA, which is due to open in 2027. The company is also expanding its plants in Mexico and Hungary.

LEGO Group opened 24 stores in the first half of the year, bringing the total number of stores worldwide to 1,079 in 54 countries. Among them is the first store in New Delhi, India.
