Kyivstar buys Tabletki.ua for $160 million
Kyivstar has acquired the price aggregator Tabletki.ua, which partners with 14,000 pharmacies across Ukraine, for $160 million. The deal was finalized after receiving approval from the Antimonopoly Committee, the company said on Tuesday.
"We will be able to combine Kyivstar's proven experience in managing and growing digital businesses with Tabletki.ua's strong platform, making digital healthcare services more accessible to a wider audience and providing greater convenience," said Oleksandr Komarov, CEO of Kyivstar.
After the acquisition, Kyivstar Group includes Ukraine's largest mobile operator, the country’s leading medical information system Helsi, the top online taxi service Uklon, and Tabletki.ua, a leader in the online pharmaceutical market.
Tabletki.ua enables users to search for medicines, compare prices, and order medical supplies from pharmacies. Founded in 2008, the company now serves most Ukrainian cities with populations over 50,000, except for occupied areas such as Donetsk, Luhansk, and Simferopol
According to unaudited management accounts, goods booked through the platform totaled UAH 57.3 billion over the 12 months ending September 30, 2025. Net profit for the same period was $20 million, while EBITDA reached $24 million.
Between 2021 and 2024, the company’s EBITDA grew at an average annual rate of 69%.
Tabletki.ua generates most of its revenue from transaction and subscription fees paid by pharmacies (85%), followed by advertising (12.2%) and other services (2.8%).
The agreed acquisition price reflects a price-to-earnings (P/E) multiple of 8.0x. Kyivstar has acquired a 100% stake in the company.
- Earlier, in April 2025, Kyivstar closed a deal to acquire 97% of the online taxi service Uklon. On August 15, Kyivstar debuted on the Nasdaq stock exchange, where shares of Ukraine’s largest mobile operator trade under the symbol KYIV.
