The American state space agency NASA and the Netflix streaming service have signed a partnership agreement. This was reported to by the NASA press service.

Thanks to this partnership, viewers around the world will be able to watch spacecraft launches, astronauts' spacewalks and views of the Earth from the International Space Station live on Netflix.

The broadcasts will begin this summer. According to NASA+ General Manager Rebecca Sirmons, the agency is fulfilling a mission established in 1958 to share the history of space exploration with as many people as possible.

At the same time, NASA+ will remain free and ad-free through the NASA app and on the agency's website.

Through a partnership with Netflix, which has more than 700 million users, NASA hopes to attract more viewers.
