In 2025, 17 new construction projects were launched in Kyiv. This is almost half the number in the Kyiv region, where 29 new residential complexes began construction, according to data from the LUN service. The situation was similar in 2024 – five in the capital, 18 in the Kyiv region.

The region is catching up with Kyiv in terms of prices for new square meters. Before the war, the capital's prices were 50% higher than in the region. Now it's only 25%. Why this is happening and how much the cost of a square meter has increased is in Lesya Solovchuk's report.
