Nowhere to store. There is a shortage of warehouses near Kyiv: Russians are destroying, developers are waiting
Ukraine's main logistics hub, the Kyiv region, suffered significant losses from Russian attacks in the first nine months of 2025. More than 65,000 square meters of warehouse space were destroyed.
The biggest blow was to the Epicenter logistics complex in Kalynivka, Brovary district. The area of the facility is 40,000 square meters. The warehouses of pharmaceutical distributor Optima-Pharm and pharmaceutical company Kusum, , coffee producer Gemini and telecommunications equipment seller Romsat.

The losses are significant for the market with a critical shortage of space and the lowest vacancy rate in commercial real estate – 1.5-3%. For comparison, the average vacancy rate in the shopping mall segment is 15%, and in office centers it is over 20%.
