Real estate of Russian General Kapashin transferred to the management of the Ukrainian veteran's company
The National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management (ARMA) has transferred three investment-attractive real estate properties in Poltava, owned by Russian General Valery Kapashin, to management, the ARMA press service reported.
The selection of the manager took place through the Prozorro public procurement system. The winner of the competition was LLC "Stalbat".
According to the Opendatabot analytical system, the company was registered in Poltava in May 2016. Its main activity is private security services.
The owner and director of Stalbat LLC, according to ArmyInform, is former paratrooper and veteran Oleksandr Pekhov.
The company received the following management:
- a cafe with an area of 205.7 square meters at 5A Chornovola Street (cost – UAH 17.6 million);
- bank branch with an area of over 1,059 square meters at 2 Vatutina Street (48.3 million UAH);
- an apartment with an area of 242.3 square meters at 10 Kotlyarevskoho Street (10.4 million UAH).
ARMA emphasized that they conducted a detailed inspection of all seized facilities, prepared technical reports, and ordered an independent assessment.
The total value of Kapashyn's first 11 assessed assets amounted to over UAH 679 million.
Work on the remaining Kapashyn properties is ongoing. After the property valuation is complete, a competitive selection of managers will also take place through the Prozorro system.
The ARMA recalled that Valery Kapashyn, a general of the Russian Army and a native of the Poltava region, massively bought up real estate in Ukraine, using money of dubious origin, and registered it in the name of his daughter, son-in-law, and other close people.
- In April 2022, the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) discovered property in Ukraine belonging to a Russian major general that was used for money laundering. This property was registered in the name of the general's relatives, who also turned out to be business partners of traitor and former MP Ilya Kiva.
