Ukrainian poultry company Avesterra Group has opened a new processing plant in the Volyn region, the company's press service reported.

The company invested about 60 million euros in construction, automation, and environmental safety.

The area of the new complex is almost 30,000 square meters, and it is equipped to the highest European standards.

The plant's capacity is 13,500 broilers per hour, the complex has 50 production and auxiliary facilities and modern treatment plants (3,500 cubic meters per day) with membrane filtration.

It is noted that this allows for the effective treatment of all production effluents and minimizes the impact on the environment.

It is planned that in the future all production processes at the processing plant will be automated. In addition, it is expected to be fully equipped with modern equipment from well-known world manufacturers.

The plant will produce products of three brands: "Epikur", "Chebaturochka" and Delika.

For 2022–2024, Avesterra Group received UAH 961.1 million in net profit after taxes.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, the company has not stopped any of its seven branches, has retained over 1,500 jobs, paid over UAH 1 billion in taxes, and provided over UAH 12 million in charitable assistance and 34 tons of chicken to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
