On the night of May 25, an agricultural enterprise in the Chernihiv region was damaged during a massive Russian attack. This was reported by the All-Ukrainian Agrarian Council (VAR), of which the affected farm is a member.

As a result of the missile strike, a potato storage facility with installed equipment and containers, as well as a sorting shop, was completely destroyed.

A nearby storage facility, a grain warehouse, and a shed between the storage facilities also suffered significant damage.

"The production stocks that were in the storage were completely destroyed. The blast wave damaged agricultural equipment: tractors, a planter, a Manitou loader, and much more. The equipment was partially destroyed, partially damaged," commented the director of the enterprise, Mykola Hordiychuk.

Preliminary losses of the agricultural enterprise are estimated at over UAH 50 million. The exact amount of losses will be known after the assessment is completed.

According to information from the Opendatabot analytical system, Hordiychuk is the director of Agrico Ukraine LLC, the official representative of the Dutch cooperative Agrico, which produces over 1 million tons of potatoes.

The Russian attack likely affected the company's main enterprise in the village of Avdiivka, Chernihiv region – LLC "AF Andriivske", whose director is also Gordiychuk. In addition to potato growing, LLC "AF Andriivske" is also engaged in plant growing.
