Ukraine to establish state-owned company to boost trade relations with Africa
On June 19, the Cabinet of Ministers approved the creation of a limited liability company Ukrainian-African Trade Mission, Taras Melnychuk, the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, reported on Telegram.

The company will be established at the proposal of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
The company has an authorized capital of UAH 1,000 ($27), and is 100% state-owned by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine.
"The mission will operate on a permanent basis to ensure Ukraine's foreign economic interests in African countries and support the process of providing humanitarian aid in them by providing advisory services," Melnychuk added.
On June 2, 2023, the government instructed the Agriculture Ministry to open an account at the National Bank for the collection of charitable funds for the provision of humanitarian aid to countries in Africa and Asia.
