Since the beginning of autumn, energy costs for businesses have increased again. The state has raised electricity distribution tariffs for businesses for the second time this year. This is all to mitigate the impact of the debt crisis on the sector.

At the same time, this decision increased pressure on energy-intensive sectors of industry. Some producers will be forced to pass some of the burden on to consumers. Others may lose their competitive positions in foreign markets.
