On September 2, members of the Ukrenergo supervisory board decided to terminate the powers of Volodymyr Kudrytskyi as the company's CEO by mutual agreement.
The reason for the resignation demand is cited as the unfinished protective structures around the system operator's substations, which allegedly led to power supply disruptions following the attacks on August 26.
