Illegal gas stations in Odesa: 20 tons of fuel seized – photos

Law enforcement officers shut down three gas stations in Odesa. The gas stations were operating in violation of the law on the production and circulation of alcohol, tobacco and fuel. About this said press service of the Bureau of Economic Security.

In particular, these gas stations illegally stored and sold counterfeit fuel and lubricants.

During the searches, the detectives dismantled and seized equipment: modular refueling complexes, fuel dispensers with components and several horizontal steel tanks of various volumes in which fuel was stored.

In total, almost 20 tons of illegally produced diesel fuel and gasoline were seized as a result of the searches.

The pre-trial investigation is ongoing over a criminal offense under Article 204 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (illegal purchase, storage and sale of fuel).

The BES identifies all persons involved in the operation of illegal gas stations.
