From July 7 to 14, retail fuel prices stabilized, reported the industry publication enkorr with reference to the market price monitoring data of the A-95 Consulting Group.

On average, A-95 and A-95+ gasoline prices in the country increased by only 4 kopecks and amounted to UAH 47.93/l ($1.31) and UAH 50/l ($1.36), respectively, while diesel fuel added 15 kopecks to 47 UAH/l ($1.36).

At the same time, over the past week, the KLO chain adjusted prices upwards by up to UAH 1: A-95 gasoline rose to UAH 48.99/l ($1.33), A-95+ gasoline – to UAH 51.49/l ($1.40), diesel fuel – to UAH 47.79/l ($1.30). SOCAR raised the price of diesel fuel by UAH 1 to UAH 49.99/l ($1.36).

Ovis, Avantage 7, Olas, Quorum and other networks also changed the price of fuel in accordance with the new price realities.

Previously, the major gas station chains warned that from July 1, due to the restoration of the 20% VAT on fuel, the prices of gasoline and diesel fuel were guaranteed to rise.

From July 1, the 20% value-added tax (VAT) on fuel returned, which was in effect before the full-scale invasion, while from March 2022 it was paid at the level of 7%. In addition, the former rates of excise duties are now applied, in particular, for gasoline – 213.5 euros per 1,000 liters, for diesel fuel – 139.5 euros per 1,000 liters, for autogas – 52 euros per 1,000 liters.
