Russian strike severely damages Kyiv CHP plant, 1,100 residential buildings left without heat
Densely populated residential areas of the southeastern part of Kyiv were left without heat for an indefinite period
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported significant damage to an infrastructure facility that supplies heat to the Darnytskyi and Dniprovskyi districts on the city’s left bank following a Russian strike during the night of February 3.
"Specialists are assessing the extent of the damage and prospects for restoration," Klitschko wrote.

As a result, 1,100 homes in densely populated southeastern neighborhoods of Kyiv were left without heating. Water was drained from the heating systems in these buildings early in the morning to prevent freezing.
The city has begun deploying additional heating points in schools located in neighborhoods affected by the outage.
- During the previous large-scale shelling on January 24, the northeastern district of Troyeshchyna was left without heat after CHP-6 stopped operating, according to Maksym Bakhmutov, head of the Desnianskyi district.
