Ukrenergo's Supervisory Board Reconsiders its Decision to Dismiss the Company's CEO Vitaliy Zaichenko, reported Ministry of Energy.

"The Ministry of Energy welcomes the decision of the Supervisory Board to continue the work of Vitaliy Zaichenko as Chairman of the Board of NPC Ukrenergo," the Ministry, which is a shareholder in the company, said in a statement .

"The Ministry of Energy and the Supervisory Board will continue to work closely together, holding regular meetings to discuss current and urgent issues, including the protection of critical infrastructure, stable operation of the power system, and improvement of the company's financial condition," the statement said .

Ukrenergo confirms that the company's management will continue to work.

"Chairman of the Board of NPC Ukrenergo Vitalii Zaichenko and members of the company's Management Board continue to fulfill their duties. NPC Ukrenergo continues to fulfill in good faith all its obligations to contractors, investors and international partners. It is extremely important for us to maintain controllability, transparency, constructiveness and broad international support so that Ukrainian power engineers continue to receive the necessary machinery and equipment for emergency repair works, and the protection of the company's facilities is enhanced," the company said in a statement.
