Russia attacks Sinelnykove station for more than a day: train traffic restricted to Dnipro – video
Over the past 24 hours, Russia has carried out seven drone strikes on the railway infrastructure of the Sinelnikove station near Dnipro, Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko said.
"Russia is purposefully affecting our logistics routes – this is a deliberate terror against people and civilian logistics," she wrote on Telegram.
The Russian strikes damaged electric train cars while they were standing idle, freight cars, locomotives, tracks, power grids, administrative and industrial buildings.
There were no casualties.
For security reasons, Ukrzaliznytsia is forced to maintain traffic restrictions between Dnipro and Zaporizhzhia.
On Friday, January 30, all trains that were supposed to depart from Zaporizhzhia departed from Dnipro. Passengers on evening trains are transported by buses provided by Zaporizhzhia UIA.
- On the evening of January 27, Russia launched three drones at the passenger train Barvinkove – Lviv – Chop". At least five people are known to have died.
- The next day, Ukrzaliznytsia decided to restrict traffic in the Kharkiv region.
