Ukrzaliznytsia has renewed the electric train that was the first to run between Chernihiv and Nizhyn

Ukrzaliznytsia has renewed and repaired the 41st electric train that has undergone major repairs and modernization since the start of the full-scale war. This was reported by Yevhen Shramko, a member of the Ukrzaliznytsia board in charge of repair and production,.

The peculiarity of this electric train is that it once opened the electrified section Chernihiv-Nizhyn.

The train also ran on routes to Vorozhba, Konotop and other destinations.

The electric train was not only repaired but also modernized in accordance with modern safety, comfort and inclusiveness requirements.

The cars are equipped with areas for people with disabilities, places for transporting bicycles, USB chargers and changing tables.

In addition, in-house-made lighting fixtures were installed in the train's salons, vestibules and bathrooms. This is the second train to use this technical solution.

The train is currently undergoing a week-long run-in, after which it will return to the route.
