Ukraine's postal operator Nova Post opens its first branch in Germany
Express delivery giant Nova Poshta will open its first branch in Berlin tomorrow, on June 30, reported the press service of Nova Post Deutschland.
Germany will become the fifth country in the European Union where Nova Post operates, after Romania, Poland, Lithuania and the Czech Republic. The company also operates on the Moldovan market.
In Germany, the Nova Post office will accept parcels from Ukraine weighing up to 30 kg, as well as cargo.
Dangerous goods (weapons, flammable liquids, substances in pressurized cylinders, gases, deodorants), works of art (paintings, stamps, antique books, icons), foodstuffs of animal origin and perishables, jewelry, and precious metals cannot be sent to Germany.
It is also prohibited to send commercial consignments of goods — parcels containing more than three types of identical goods, for example, three phones or four identical pairs of shoes.
From October 2022, Nova Post started working in Poland .
In March 2023, Nova Post opened its first branch in Lithuania, and at the beginning of June in Czechia.
On June 26, Nova Post opened in Romania's capital Bucharest.
