Training and grant for veterans (male and female)
Veterans, both male and female, with combatant status and entrepreneurial experience can participate in a free curriculum from Universe Group, the Genesis for Ukraine foundation, and the Ukrainian Catholic University. The program includes online courses, individual mentoring, practical offline workshops in Lviv, and networking with entrepreneurs.
The program will include a project competition. The winner will receive $30,000, and the second and third place winners will each receive $10,000. To participate in the program, you need to submit an application, complete a questionnaire, attend an interview, and write a letter of motivation.

Grant up to 400,000 for veterans (male and female)
Applications for participation can be submitted starting September 1, 2025 grants from DVV International Ukraine. Veterans, their families, and family members can participate. Funds are allocated for starting and developing a business. The project covers seven regions of Ukraine: Vinnytsia, Lviv, Melitopol/Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, Nikopol, Poltava, and Sumy. A mandatory condition is completing educational courses or consultations at partner centers before applying for a grant.

Compensation up to 500,000 UAH for farmers in Lviv region
Veterans-farmers from Lviv region can receive compensation up to 500,000 UAH for the purchase of new equipment. Support is provided by the Department of Agrarian and Industrial Development of the Lviv Regional State Administration. Veterans of war (ATO, OOS), their family members, or family members of fallen soldiers can participate in the program.
The program partially covers the cost of agricultural machinery and equipment purchased in the current year. Funding covers 80% of the cost, but not more than 500,000 UAH.

Adapting workplaces for people with disabilities
Up to 120,000 UAH may to receive Entrepreneurs can receive funding to adapt workplaces for people with disabilities. The state will help purchase special furniture, equipment, and devices. Up to 120,000 UAH is allocated to compensate for workplace adaptation for people with disabilities of Group I, and up to 80,000 UAH for Group II.

Grant for business development of entrepreneurs in Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Up to 1 million UAH for the development of your own business can be to receive residents of the Zaporizhzhia region who are registered in the region. The grant proposal applies to:
IDP;
combatants;
persons with disabilities;
family members of fallen servicemen.
The grant is issued once a year on a co-financing basis. Grant funds cover no more than 90% of the company's business activities. The recipient must pay taxes from these funds – 18% personal income tax and 5% military levy. The entrepreneur is also obligated to pay taxes over three years totaling at least the amount of the grant received.

Grant for business development for women-IDPs in Zaporizhzhia
62,500 UAH can to receive women IDPs living in Ukrainian-controlled communities of the Zaporizhzhia region. The assistance is provided by the UN Women in Ukraine structure, funded by the Women's Peace Fund. This support is provided in a non-financial form, such as payment for business equipment, or payment for training to acquire a new profession or improve qualifications.
Participants need to submit an application, a cover letter, a resume, a certificate of IDP status, and complete mandatory preliminary training.

The government's ongoing "Own Business" program.
To 1 million UAH Entrepreneurs can receive funding to create and develop their own businesses through the ongoing government program "Own Business". Funding is available to individuals, legal entities, and sole proprietors. Conditions:
Individuals can receive up to 75,000 UAH, with subsequent registration as a sole proprietor;
Young people up to 25 years old can receive up to 150,000 hryvnias, with subsequent registration as a sole proprietor;
Entrepreneurs who need to create one job have the opportunity to receive up to 150,000 hryvnias;
up to 250,000 hryvnias (it is necessary to create two jobs).
In July, the government expanded the program. Now it's possible to receive a grant of up to 1 million hryvnias for... opening of private preschool institutions.
A separate area of the program is – grants for veterans and their spousesThe funds can be received by a combatant or a person with disability as a result of war, and the spouse of a combatant/person with disability as a result of war.
Grants ranging from 500,000 UAH to 1 million UAH are provided on a co-financing basis: the state provides 70% of the business project amount, and the entrepreneur provides 30%. It is also necessary to have at least three years of entrepreneurial experience. This is confirmed by the registration of a sole proprietorship or legal entity. The funds can be used for purchasing equipment, procuring raw materials, paying rent, marketing and advertising services, commercial concessions, and leasing.
Veterans applying for up to 250,000 UAH need to create one job, for up to 500,000 UAH – two jobs, and from 500,000 to 1 million UAH – four jobs.
Grant for women entrepreneurs in the manufacturing sector
Up to $15,000 may to receive female entrepreneurs who are registered as sole proprietors or are co-owners of a limited liability company or private enterprise with a share of more than 50%. The funds can be used to purchase equipment for production development, including its delivery and installation. Up to 30% of the total grant amount can also be spent on purchasing software necessary for the operation of this equipment.
The deadline is October 31, 2025.
Microgrant for veterans to start their own business.
Up to 20,000 UAH reimbursement of expenses Funding for the purchase of goods for running a business can be obtained from the Ukrainian Veteran Fund. Veterans and their family members who are individual entrepreneurs of the first, second, and third groups, or individuals engaged in independent professional activity, are eligible for compensation.
The program only reimburses expenses that have already been incurred by the applicant. Planned purchases are not covered.

Grant for the production of the processing industry
An entrepreneur (sole proprietor or legal entity) can receive up to 16 million UAH on production organization: the purchase of machine tools, technological equipment, their delivery and commissioning.
In order to receive the grant, the entrepreneur must create at least five jobs, operate for at least three years, and pay taxes.
For most regions, funding is provided on a 50/50 basis: through a grant and the entrepreneur's own funds. However, in areas of potential hostilities and de-occupied territories, 80/20 funding is possible.

Grant for demining startups
Up to 3,000 pounds sterling may to receive Ukrainian startups, engineering teams, university and research groups that are working on innovative solutions for humanitarian demining.
The TechBridge program, implemented in partnership with the innovative holding company Sikorsky Challenge and the UK Government, supports the development of technologies for detecting, mapping, and neutralizing explosive hazards.
In addition to funding, participants receive international project expertise, mentoring support, and access to the Sikorsky Challenge ecosystem. The most promising teams will automatically qualify for the Sikorsky Challenge 2025 finals and present their solutions on the international stage.

Brave1 Cluster for the Development of Defense Tech in Ukraine
2.77 billion UAH allocated for development grants defense technologies within the Brave1 platform.
Ukrainian startups, companies, and engineering teams working on solutions in the field of military innovation can apply: from drones and ground robotics to marine drones, electronic warfare systems, artificial intelligence, and autonomous platforms. Financial support is aimed at developing new solutions and increasing production capacity, particularly in the field of ammunition and missile technology.
Brave1 is a state platform created in 2023 with the participation of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff, the National Security and Defense Council, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, and the Ministry of Economy. Its goal is to help developers quickly adapt innovations for the military and find support from the state.
In addition to grants, participants gain access to the Brave1 Market military technology marketplace, which features over a thousand products, as well as expert support and the opportunity for direct communication with military customers.

Grants for relocated or local businesses in four regions.
Up to $20,000 in hryvnia equivalent may to receive entrepreneurs who have relocated their businesses to Kyiv, Kyiv region, Sumy region, Kharkiv region, and Dnipropetrovsk region. As well as local businesses that have been affected by the war and need funds for recovery.
To participate in the program, official business registration and co-financing of the business idea are required. It is also necessary to create or preserve at least three jobs for internally displaced persons or the local population.

Partial reimbursement of costs for registration of intellectual property rights
Up to 75% compensation Entrepreneurs in Kyiv region can receive reimbursement of fees for registration of intellectual property (IP). Conditions for receiving funds: – no more than 11,200 UAH per trademark.
