Australia expands sanctions against Russia. Top managers of Gazprombank and Sovcomflot are on the list

The Australian government has expanded the list of sanctions against Russia, introducing restrictions against 37 more individuals and seven legal entities of economic or strategic importance, the press service of the Australian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reported.

In particular, Australia imposed sanctions against Russian singer Yaroslav Dronov, known under the pseudonym Shaman.

According to the Russian publication "Finance.Mail", members of the board of directors of Sovcomflot, Gazprom Neft, and Gazprombank were also subject to sanctions.

In addition, the sanctions list included the head of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, first deputy general director of the VDTRK, Anton Zlatopolsky, actor Vyacheslav Manucharov, athlete and TV presenter Maria Kiselyova, and a number of other individuals.

All new individuals have already been added to the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade's Consolidated Sanctions List.

The sanctions include an asset freeze and a ban on entry to Australia.
