Russian shelling burns down already closed Epicentr mall in Kherson – photo, video
Overnight, the Russian army shelled Kherson. As reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service, three residential buildings, commercial buildings, eight passenger cars and the construction hypermarket Epicentr, which was closed after the previous shelling a year ago, came under enemy fire.
Firefighters tried to extinguish the fire until the morning.

Kherson used to have two Epicentr hypermarkets.
In February 2023, the Epicentr on Beryslavske Shose completely burned down, and the second store was closed in May 2023 after it came under fire. At the time, three employees of the company were killed: the head of the security department, a cleaner and a security guard.
Regional governor Oleksandr Prokudin said that during the past day, four high-rise buildings and 14 houses were damaged in the region. A critical infrastructure object, a medical center, preschool educational institutions, a shopping center and a store were hit. Cars and an internet line were damaged.
On May 25, 19 people died as a result of a Russian attack on the Epicentr hypermarket in Kharkiv.
